Fence Vibration System
The TEE 290 FVS is a very cost-effective electronic intrusion detection system based on highly reliable sensors that can be
mounted on any type of fence, including chain link, barbed wire and metal sheet, as well as on walls. The TEE 290 FVS can transform any fence/wall into an intrusion-proof barrier with just a minimum of modification.
Supplied Ready to Install The TEE 290 FVS is extremely easy to install. The system is supplied with the sensors assembled on the cables ready for mounting. The sensors are always installed in pairs in a line
across the selected fence. Installation can be in any 270° plane with virtually no loss of sensitivity. The sensors can be individually adjusted for sensitivity. In high security risk sites, it is recommended to install a second
line of sensors on the upper section of the fence to prevent any attempt to climb over the barrier with a ladder. Reliable Operation The TEE 290 FVS sensors are made from special high-resistant,
long-lasting plastic that requires a minimum of maintenance. The built-in electro-mechanical filters can distinguish between real and false alarms (average of less than 4 false alarms per month per
kilometer of fence). The sensors and all electrical connections are hermetically epoxy sealed, assuring absolute protection from dust, corrosion and humidity. The sealing allows the system to be
completely operable even under water. The TEE 290 FVS meets strict military specifications. Central Control The TEE 290 FVS sensors are linked to either a TE-10FZ control
unit or to a Computerized Control Center (CCC) that accepts and further analyzes data from the sensors, filters out false alarms and then informs the guardhouse of any unauthorized intrusion
attempt, specifying the precise zone of entry. An audible buzzer alarm is sounded when an alarm signal is received from any zone. One TE-10FZ control unit can monitor 10 zones of up to 300
meters (1000 ft.) each in length. A computerized control center that can supervise up to 127 zones is available, as is an illuminated map, recorder and hard-copy printer.
In the event of an electricity breakdown, a rechargeable battery automatically powers the control unit for as long as 24 hours. Technical Specifications
